Texas A&M has their new guy at the helm to lead their program.
Jimbo Fisher, the former coach of the Florida State Seminoles, is going to take over the job in College Station after Texas A&M fired previous coach Kevin Sumlin.
Jimbo Fisher has resigned as FSU's coach and will be named the new coach at Texas A&M, sources told ESPN. He will not coach in Saturday's regular-season finale against Louisiana-Monroe. FSU is planning a news conference for this afternoon

Reports say that Fisher will be accepting a 10-year contract with the Aggies, and according to KBTX-TV out of Bryan, Texas, the contract is expected to be worth $7.5 million annually.
And according to Football Scoop, former Western Kentucky coach and current Oregon coach Willie Taggart may replace Fisher at Florida State.
For the Aggies, you can’t imagine a much better hire that they could have made. In eight years as the head man in Tallahassee, Fisher compiled an 83-23 record. The Seminoles struggled mightily this year after losing their starting quarterback in the opening game versus Alabama, as they have a 5-6 record, but this was the first year under Fisher that the Seminoles had less than 9 wins.
Under Fisher, the Seminoles won a national title in 2013, made two Orange Bowl appearances and one Rose Bowl appearance.
For Kentucky, this is big news because Kentucky will travel to College Station next year to take on the Aggies.
The Wildcats and the Aggies have not played each other since the 1950s, where Kentucky won in 1952, but Texas A&M won in 1953.
Additionally, Mark Stoops knows Jimbo Fisher very well. Stoops served as defensive coordinator under Fisher while at Florida State before taking the head coaching job at Kentucky.
Stoops joined the Seminoles as defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach on Dec. 11, 2009, and Fisher was named head coach on Jan. 7, 2010.
This should make for an interesting matchup next October.
