Darius Garland will decide Friday or Monday

The 5-star point guard is a likely Vanderbilt or Indiana commit.

The time is near for 2018 5-star point guard Darius Garland to make his college decision, as he will decide on Friday or Monday, his trainer said, according to ZagsBlog.

Garland is the No. 10 player in the class of ‘18 according to the 247 Sports composite. Garland is 6-1, 170 lbs. He’ll choose between Kentucky, Duke, Indiana, Vanderbilt and UCLA.

Vanderbilt is currently the leader in his Crystal Ball, receiving 56 percent of the predictions. Indiana and Duke are receiving votes as well. Garland has visited every school of those top five except Duke. He visited Kentucky for Big Blue Madness.

With Immanuel Quickley signing with Kentucky on Thursday, it’s clear that the point guard spot is locked up in the 2018 class. As much as I’m sure John Calipari would love to have two 5-stars at that spot in one class, it’s just not going to happen with Quickley. He’s been a likely Vanderbilt or Indiana commit for a while now.
