Immanuel Quickley to sign with Kentucky Wildcats during fall signing period

Immanuel Quickley will be UK’s first 2018 signee.

Tipton Edits

Immanuel Quickley will officially become a cat this week.

According to Cats Pause, Quickley will sign his national letter of intent on Thursday. The early signing period begins Wednesday and runs through November 15, so Quickley will sign in this period and become the first signee for UK in the 2018 class.

The five-star point guard out of Maryland committed to the Cats in October while holding offers from the Kansas Jayhawks, Miami Hurricanes, Maryland Terrapins, Louisville Cardinals, USC Trojans, Virginia Cavaliers and Washington Huskies among many others.

Quickley is currently ranked eight overall in the 2018 class by Scout, while Rivals has him 10th. He’s also ranked 12t by ESPN and 13th by 247 Sports.

Quickley is just one of several UK recruits planning to sign this fall, but he’s the only one that’s already committed to UK. My guess is Quickley is joined by at least two other signees for UK over the next two weeks.
