The fall signing period begins this week, and the Kentucky Wildcats are primed to add to their 2018 class.
As of now, Immanuel Quickley is the only member of this class, but anywhere from 3-5 more players could join it in the coming months. Several may join it before the early signing period concludes on Nov. 15, but who?
We could see names like Zion Williamson, Bol Bol, R.J. Barrett, Quentin Grimes, Shareef O’Neal and Keldon Johnson make decisions very soon. However, we also may see many of those decisions not go in favor of UK.
You could make good cases for other schools landing all of them, whether it be Zion (Duke/Clemson), Johnson (Texas), Bol, (Oregon), Gimes (Kansas), O’Neal (stay committed to Arizona) or Barrett (Duke/Oregon).
No, UK isn’t missing on all of them, not as long as Calipari is running the show, but how many, if any, players will he sign this fall? UK also has Quickley committed, so the absolute minimum UK comes away with is one signee this fall.
But, will anyone join him?
