R.J. Barrett’s decision will be coming next Friday, and while all signs seem to point toward Barrett choosing the Duke Blue Devils, Kentucky is still in the running for the top player in 2018.

About a month ago, Barrett announced his decision date, and as it looms near, more details have been announced regarding Barrett’s decision.

Barrett will announce his decision on TSN during their 6 p.m. edition of Sportscentre, and it will be part of a two-day feature on Barrett, according to the company’s website.

“Live on-site at the Lionhead Golf & Conference Centre, Nabil Karim hosts Friday’s special SPORTSCENTRE broadcast alongside NBA ON TSN analyst Leo Rautins who breaks down what makes Barrett such a highly touted prospect, and Kayla Grey who delivers interviews for TSN.ca” the company’s website states.

“SPORTSCENTRE primes fans for the announcement on Thursday, Nov. 9 with a special feature delivering exclusive access to the Barrett family in Florida, where the bourgeoning star is currently playing high school basketball.”

TSN subscribers can access live streaming of the announcement via TSN.ca/Live and the TSN GO app.

Duke has an overwhelming lead on Barrett’s Crystal Ball, with 82 percent of the picks. The Blue Devils have the last 10 picks as well. It would be a surprise if Barrett chose anyone but the Blue Devils, but the announcement will surely still be one to watch due to the talent that Barrett possesses.

Many project Barrett to be the top pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
