The Kentucky Wildcats are set to face the Louisville Cardinals in the 2017 Governor’s Cup in college football’s regular-season finale.
Last season, the Wildcats shocked the Cardinals and their Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium with a 41-38 triumph.
Much has changed since then, but the game time will remain the same, as the two teams will kickoff at noon on the final full college football Saturday of the 2017 season.
Louisville will be going for their eighth win of the season, and they also hope to send Lamar Jackson off into the sunset in what likely is his final regular-season game, as the NFL Draft appears to be his next destination.
Kentucky will also be going for its eighth win of the regular season, which would be the first time that has happened since 1984. This will also serve as Senior Day while players like Stephen Johnson, Charles Walker, Garrett ‘Juice’ Johnson and others play their final game in Lexington.
