Kentucky Basketball stomps Fort Wayne: Highlights and Box Score

The Cats score their fifth win in impressive fashion.

Kentucky is now 5-1 after dominating the Fort Wayne Mastodons. This was easily the best performance of the young season by the extremely young Cats, 86-67.

Nick Richards had the game of his life, The freshman center was unstoppable, recording 15 boards, two blocks and 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes of action.

Shai Alexander, Quade Green and Kevin Knox all scored 11 points apiece to go with 12 total assists. The Cats finished an efficient 5-of-11 from deep.

Oh, and Xzavier Taylor made his best case for a scholarship to Duke.

All in all, this was a fun game to watch for 40 minutes, something we haven’t been able to say enough of so far this season, but there’s still plenty of basketball left to be played.
