NCAA Football: Kentucky at Louisville Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

We weren’t expecting Kentucky to beat Georgia. But the blowout loss leaves the Cats with just one game to improve upon their record one season ago, where they reached seven wins thanks to the largest point spread upset in all of college football over Louisville. This time a win over Louisville is basically expected, and if they don’t get that eighth win, it leaves Kentucky’s regular season with the feeling that instead of improving on last year, they just took advantage of a weaker schedule to post the same record.

There’s always the bowl game afterwards, but a loss to Louisville would leave the regular season with a bad taste in fans’ mouths.
