Tyler Herro will make his decision during the early signing period.

Following his official visit with the Kentucky Wildcats, Herro will make his college decision on Tuesday, according to Evan Daniels.

Barring an unforeseen change in circumstance, Herro is expected to pick Kentucky on Tuesday.

"I found a place I feel comfortable with and a place I want to be and I’m ready to commit," Herro told Daniels. "I don’t want to waste anyone’s time, as I wouldn’t want my time to be wasted so that’s why I’m going to sign early."

Ever since the four-star shooting guard decommitted from the Wisconsin Badgers, Kentucky was viewed as the favorite for Herro. He also draw interest from the Kansas Jayhawks, Arizona Wildcats, Florida Gators and Indiana Hoosiers among a host of Division I program.

He may be a four-star prospect, but Herro has the potential to be a star within his first two years of college hoops.

That’s why Kentucky has made him such a priority with the early signing period ending. They’re not waiting to see what guys like Quentin Grimes or other guard targets are doing.

They want Herro, and they will likely get him Tuesday.

Saying all of this, it’s still great news that Herro will decide on Tuesday. He initially said he planned to visit the Villanova Wildcats and Oregon Ducks following his trip to Lexington, but those obviously won’t happen now.

Had Herro taken those trips, he obviously wouldn’t have signed early and left Kentucky to wait for who knows how long before he decided.
