The Kentucky Wildcats are moving fast with Tyler Herro, so much that this recruitment could be wrapped up during the fall signing period.
One day after offering a scholarship to the four-star guard, UK will now host Herro for an official visit, according to Scout reporter Evan Daniels. The visit will come on the weekend of November 11th, which is just four days before the deadline to sign a national letter of intent in the fall.
It’s no guarantee that Herro commits this fall, but seeing how fast this recruitment has moved, it seems both sides want this to be done as soon as possible.
The highest ranking given to Herro, who hails from Whitnall High School in Wisconsin, is from ESPN, who has him ranked 27th overall in addition to being the fourth-best shooting guard in 2018. 247 ranks him 40th overall, while Scout and Rivals have him 38th. He’s listed as a shooting guard by every service.
The 6-6, 180-pound Herro currently holds offers from the Florida Gators, Indiana Hoosiers and Arizona Wildcats among others. His offer from UK came this week, and now he’s set to visit less than two weeks after it.
