The Kentucky Wildcats have updated their depth chart for Week 10 vs the Ole Miss Rebels.
It includes a major change in the secondary, as Chris Westry is no longer a starting cornerback. The junior DB has been replaced by Lonnie Johnson, who has become a bigger contributor in UK’s defense over the last month.
Johnson came to UK as a highly-touted JUCO DB that could play safety or cornerback. Johnson also had a key sack in Saturday’s win over the Tennessee Volunteers.
The biggest issue with Westry has been tackling. He’s been woefully bad at missing tackles throughout the last two years, making him a major liability at times.
one other big change is true freshman Quinton Bohanna moving to the top spot at nose tackle. In the past three weeks, Bohanna has now moved ahead of Naquez Pringle and Matt Elam to take this starting spot.
