Kentucky Wildcats Football depth chart updated for Missouri Tigers game: Early odds released

Jordan Jones is out again, but UK is still a big favorite to beat Mizzou.

As we’ve become accustomed to, the Kentucky Wildcats will be playing in primetime in Week 6.

This week, it’s the Missouri Tigers coming to Kroger Field under the bright lights, which will come at 7:30 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.

This is a game UK badly needs to win as well to ensure they get back to bowl eligibility. Of UK’s remaining games, Missouri is easily the most winnable game for the Cats.

That’s evident in how oddsmakers see this game, as the early game line has UK favored by 14.5 points. The line is already moving to 14 by some oddsmakers, but either way, the Cats are almost certain to enter Saturday as a two-score favorite.

Even after their blowout losses in Week 5, Tennessee and Ole Miss still look like significantly better teams. UK will need to get two wins from this bunch to earn postseason berth. Thankfully, in addition to this week’s Missouri game, all three of these contests will come within the next four games for the Cats.

In the meantime, UK updated the depth chart for Week 6, which still has Jordan Jones absent. The plan has been for Jones to sit out until UK hits their Week 7 bye, which hopefully is enough time for him to get healthy for a Week 8 road class with Mississippi State.

Here is the updated depth chart:
