The Cats and Vols will tango in an SEC primetime affair. Will Butch Jones be there?

The Kentucky Wildcats will be back in primetime in Week 9 when they host the Tennessee Volunteers.

The SEC just announced the game times and TV info for all of the Week 9 matchups, which features the Cats and Vols clashing at Kroger Field.

One big storyline entering this game will be the status of Butch Jones, who is likely on the way out in Knoxville, though it won’t come before the Vols host Alabama in Week 8. Assuming the Tide take it to the Vols, it’s possible Jones is fired before his team travels to Lexington in Week 9.

The schedule for the ninth weekend of the regular season is comprised of five SEC games and one non-conference game. The CBS SEC Game of the Week features Georgia and Florida facing off in Jacksonville.
