You know you’ve reached the 21st century of the sports world when this is news: Immanuel Quickley tweeted a picture of him and Zion Williamson in Kentucky jerseys with Big Blue Madness as the backdrop.

He tagged Kentucky reporters and Overtime in it, making sure it was seen by everyone.
This surely isn’t a verification that Williamson is headed to Kentucky, but we know that Quickley wants him there.
During the AAU circuit earlier this year, the two talked about being a package deal (Quickley had a tweet for that, too) and both said they wanted to play together in college.
Talk of that slowed a bit as Williamson distanced himself from the discussion as Kansas became a bigger factor in his recruitment. But clearly his potential future teammate still wants him to join the party in Lexington.

This reminds me a bit of how Kentucky commits pursued Kevin Knox last year...it worked, so here’s to hoping it works again this year.
