Doug Shows doesn’t have a great history with Kentucky, but his latest over-the-line act is something else.
During the Cats’ 97-71 win over Arkansas on Saturday, Shows apparently ejected UK strength and conditioning coach Rob Harris towards the end of the game, according to KSR’s Matt Jones.

UK has since confirmed that Harris was ejected near the end of the game. If it was at the last media timeout, it means Shows ejected Harris with just 3:20 left to play.
It’s very rare to see an official eject anyone other than a head coach, let alone a member of the training staff, but given Shows’ history with Kentucky, it’s really not that surprising.
To recap, Shows has now ejected John Robic, and now Rob Harris from games during their time in Lexington. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of a strength coach being ejected from any sporting event, though I’m sure it’s happened...and Shows probably did it.
Hopefully this isn’t an issue later this year when Shows undoubtedly refs another UK game...yeah right.
