Monday Quickies: Eric Bledsoe Erupts Edition

Eric Bledsoe's career night helps Suns score huge upset and more in today's headlines!

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

Eric Bledsoe had his best scoring performance ever, as he recorded a career-high 40 points against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday to lead the Phoenix Suns to victory.

Bledsoe did it the way he always does; he wasn't flashy, but he was efficient. He passed well, he hit 11 of his 17 shots, and he didn't miss a single free throw.

Whether he wants to admit it or not, Bledsoe is playing his best basketball right now. We're seeing what a great player he can be; a true leader on the floor. It's amazing to think that he wasn't even the best guard on his team in college. If he can continue to put up consistent performances like he has the past couple games, we could see Bledsoe become a guard to build around, and even a hot commodity in the league.
