Kentucky will look to remain unbeaten in SEC play when Texas A&M comes to Rupp for a Tuesday night clash.
This has quietly become a great SEC rivalry in recent years, highlighted by last year’s thrilling SEC Championship clash that saw the Wildcats win in overtime.
In fact, UK is 4-3 vs the Aggies in the six meetings since the 2012-13 season, and four of those games went into overtime, including a double-overtime thriller in the 2014-15 season.
UK assistant coach Tony Barbee has been part of those four overtime affairs, and he expects another hard-fought matchup Tuesday night.
“It’s going to be a fistfight,” Barbee said Monday. “All of our games have been, they’ve been down to the wire, so we expect nothing less.”
