The BBN has a brand new member of the family, and his name is Hamidou Diallo. Diallo, a 5-star recruit, has officially enrolled a semester early at Kentucky in order to get additional work in with the team. While Diallo plans to redshirt and sit out until next year, there’s no doubt that the experience he’s about to gain from practices and workouts will go a long way in his development as a basketball player. He’ll get experience against several future NBA players, and his freshman season he’ll be a lot better than he is now, even as the No. 9 player in his class (according to 247 Sports). Welcome to the family, Hamidou!

And while Diallo is the first member of the 2017 class to join the family, he’s not the only new family member that has committed. Quade Green, P.J. Washington, Nick Richards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have all committed to join Diallo next year.
