With recruiting about to heat back up, we'll see John Calipari traveling across the nation in the coming weeks to meet with various prospects.
The Kentucky Wildcats will meet with three of their top 2017 targets this weekend. Five-star point guard Trae Young, five-star shooting guard Hamidou Diallo, and five-star forward P.J. Washington will all meet with UK this weekend.

Ben Roberts of the Herald-Leader reports that Washington will host Calipari on Sunday after it was previously reported the meeting would happen Friday. The 6-7, 225-pound forward out of Texas remains one of UK’s top targets in 2017, and he’s one of the likeliest commitments Calipari may secure this fall.
Diallo, a 6-5, 188-pound guard out of New York is also one of the likeliest commitments for UK in 2017, though UConn is a strong contender in this recruitment as well.
As for Young, you know by now the 6-2, 170-pound Oklahoma native is UK’s top point guard target in 2017. Holding off the home-state Sooners will be no easy task, but Calipari has UK in great shape in this recruitment, which should end sometime this fall.
It’s very possible all three of these guys are committed to UK by the time Christmas rolls around. That may explain why they’re among the first recruits that UK is meeting with this weekend.
Five-star forward Kevin Knox will also host Calipari this weekend, but a spring decision is more likely there.
