With college coaches now able to meet with recruits, several big-name targets are hosting John Calipari in the coming weeks. Among them is five-star forward Kevin Knox, who is hosting Coach Cal on Friday, according to Pat Lawless.

Knox, a 6-8 wing out of Tampa (FL), is ranked as a top-10 prospect in nearly every recruiting service. Both Scout.com and ESPN have Knox ranked as their seventh-best prospect in 2017.
The Duke Blue Devils are currently the favorites for Knox, but the Kentucky Wildcats have made up a lot of ground with him this summer. Knox is currently planning to make his decision in the spring, giving him ample time to visit Lexington in the coming months.
Florida State is also a strong contender, being that his father was a wide receiver on FSU's 1993 national championship team. Knox's mother played volleyball at FSU.
UK will have a tough time overcoming Duke and FSU, but it's something Calipari is doing his best to accomplish in the 2017 class.
