Kentucky Football depth chart updated for Florida week

UK lost one of their key defenders last week, leading to some shifting around the secondary.

The Kentucky Wildcats have a new depth chart ahead of their matchup with the Florida Gators.

Noticeably absent is starting safety Blake McClain, who suffered a head injury vs Southern Miss that forced him out of the game. That came in the second half as the Golden Eagles made their big rally.

With McClain out, Marcus McWilson is in his starting spot with Marcus Walker as the backup.

J.D. Harmon is listed as the starting nickelback now with the versatile Kobie Walker as his backup. Walker has been playing all over this defense, though mainly at linebacker.

The starting punter job is still listed as Grant McKinniss ‘OR’ Bryan Kirshe. Neither was too effective Saturday against Southern Miss, and kicking at Florida will prove to be a much taller ordeal.

Finally, Dorian Baker ‘OR’ Tavin Richardson is listed at the fourth starting receiver spot. Baker missed Saturday’s game with a hamstring injury, but the hope is he’ll be back in time to play at Florida.
