Last week was one of the most challenging weeks of Mark Stoops’ tenure at UK.
With his head on the chopping block in the eyes of many UK fans, media and even alumni, Stoops and his Wildcats were faced with a level of adversity they may have never seen, but they responded with a gut-check win over South Carolina.
The much-maligned defense had one of its best games of Stoops’ time in Lexington, and the offense did just enough to pull off a 17-10 win.
Now, the guys at Kentucky Wildcats TV have put out another fantastic behind-the-scenes look at that day, which also included the UK Athletics Hall of Fame induction.
Among those getting inducted was Wesley Woodyard, who helped get the defense fired yup before the game, so it probably shouldn’t be a surprise they played so well.
