Les Miles to be fired by LSU Tigers, per report

It appears LSU is wasting no time finding a new coach.

The LSU Tigers are finally parting ways with Les Miles.

According to The Advocate, the Tigers head coach is expected to be relieved of his duties over the next 24 hours, along with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.

After Saturday’s embarrassing loss at Auburn, Miles seemed destined to end up being fired at some point this season, but to see it happen this quick would be a major surprise. The only logical reason to do so would be to ensure LSU gets the best chance to target their next head coach and hire him as soon as possible.

That will obviously be hard if said coach is currently at another program right now. Unless it’s a coordinator, it’s hard to see LSU announcing a hire anytime soon, even if they do zone in on who they want to be their next football coach.

Oh, and Miles is now about to become a free agent...
