It’s one thing when fans don’t like a certain uniform, but when former players are chiming in, that’s when you know there is a problem.
On Wednesday, the Kentucky Wildcats unveiled new basketball uniforms for the 2016-17 basketball season. They feature a checkerboard design on the side of both the jersey and shorts.
However, fans quickly let their voices be heard that, for the most part, they were not a fan of these new uniforms.
Now, former Wildcat shooting guard and current Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is weighing in.

Former Cat and current Utah Jazz forward Trey Lyles also does not appear to be a fan:

I honestly didn’t have much of an opinion either way on the new uniforms. They don’t look great, but they don’t bother me either.
It sounds like they’re really bothering a lot of UK fans and even former players, so maybe UK and Nike need to rethink their design.
