NCAA Basketball: Kentucky Blue Madness Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

Good Thursday morning BBN, the weekend is almost here. Coach Cal is inviting all former Wildcats to this year’s Big Blue Madness, in what he hopes to make a massive Kentucky basketball reunion. The goal is to have all former players there at once, which would be one heck of a reunion. All the greatness in one building would be pretty incredible, and it would likely be a lot of fun for former players, young and old, to get to know other former Wildcats.

If you are a former player or you know a former player, please e-mail PlayersFirst@uky.edu to help set up this reunion, and make it one that Kentucky fans will love.

Tweet of the day

Today’s tweet of the day was actually deleted after the news source realized just how badly they’d messed up. However, thanks to modern technology I was able to preserve it.

Turns out @ToreMyMCL is just a guy from California who likes the Patriots. He certainly is not Robert Griffin III, the Browns quarterback who has suffered several leg/knee injuries, and who was supposed to be tagged in this tweet. I get the feeling a social media intern landed in some hot water with their supervisor.

New Kentucky jerseys get mixed reactions - NBC Sports

I like the checkerboard because it looks good with UK’s color scheme. However, they should’ve been more conservative with the amount of checkers. The team is going to look like a walking blue/white Neyland Stadium end zone.
