Martavius Neloms rips Mark Stoops and Mitch Barnhart

More former players are voicing their frustrations with what’s happened to Kentucky Football.

Former Kentucky Wildcats continue to weigh in and voice their displeasure with the debacle that took place Saturday in the Swamp.

The latest UK alum to chime in is Martavius Neloms, who was about as harsh as anyone has been with his assessment of Mark Stoops and his program.

Neloms also does not believe Stoops’ $12 million buyout will save him if things getting worse.

And Stoops wasn’t the only one in Neloms crosshatch. UK athletics director Mitch Barnhart has now hired two straight football coaches who likely won’t make it past Year 4 in their UK tenure.

At many Power schools, that can get you fired, which Neloms seems to think should happen.

You can follow Neloms’ Twitter for many more remarks on UK Football.

Former UK safety Mikie Benton also weighed in, and while his comments aren’t as harsh, they are a reminder of how bad things are getting.

Sometimes, silence can speak just as loudly as anything seen above, which seems to be the approach former Wildcats Landon Foster and Maxwell Smith went for.

Oh, and Florida quarterback Luke Del Rio added salt to the wound with his postgame review of UK’s defense doing nothing to him.

Sigh...
