Regie Meant's time with the Kentucky Wildcats is now 100% over.
A UK spokesman confirmed last week that Meant was no longer enrolled at UK and was off the football roster. That didn't mean Meant couldn't re-enroll and come back next semester, but that can't happen now that he's at a new school.
Jacksonville State is where Meant has landed, and it looks like he got there so quick that he'll play in Week 1.
Defensive end Regie Meant is in uniform today for @JSUGamecocks. He will wear No. 9. Transfer from Kentucky, was cleared today.

Jacksonville State will have another transfer in uniform tonight as Regie Meant, a former Kentucky Wildcat, was cleared recently.

One would have to think this was something in the works before Meant 'officially' left UK, but regardless, his days as a Cat are over.
A 6-4, 302-pound lineman from Cape Coral (FL), Meant played in 10 games last season with four starts while recording 31 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack. He left the team indefinitely for personal reasons early in fall camp.
