SEC Odds, Picks and Predictions 2016: Week 1

College football is finally back in all of our lives.

With it comes the return of arguably the greatest league in all of college sports. SEC Football is simply on another level in comparison to any other league. That will be on display in Week 1 when the SEC's top teams take on national powers throughout the weekend.

The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide square off with the USC Trojans on Saturday night. Even with the Tide rolling with a new quarterback and lots of new faces, they should steamroll past these up-and-coming Trojans.

If anyone is going to dethrone Bama atop the SEC, the LSU Tigers are likely the team to do it. They'll get a great road test Saturday when they face the Wisconsin Badgers at Lambeau Field.

While Bama and LSU are regarded as the top two SEC clubs, don't sleep on the Ole Miss Rebels. They knocked off both SEC West powers last year, and this could be the breakthrough year for Hugh Freeze's program.

First, they'll have to tangle with the Florida State Seminoles in Orlando. The Noles are viewed as a College Football Playoff contender and someone who may be capable of knocking off the SEC for the national title. This will be a great SEC vs ACC affair that could give us an idea of where both conference stand.

The same could prove true when the Auburn Tigers host the No. 2 Clemson Tigers Saturday night. Clemson looks primed for another CFP run, but we've seen Auburn come out of nowhere far too many times to sleep on them going into Week 1.
