Good morning BBN, these are your Sunday morning quickies. With fan day having taken place, the Wildcats are ready for camp to be in full swing. With the 2nd practice comes new storylines and analysis and impressions on players that we're all keeping our eyes on. We all want to see what Drew Barker will do as starting quarterback, how Matt Elam will handle his weight, and how the Cats will make it to a bowl game this season.

Football quickies

Mitch Barnhart speaks about getting to be apart of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee. Maybe Kentucky won't get seeded lower than a team they beat just moments before the bracket was finalized anymore.
DeMarcus Cousins scores 17 in Team USA's rout of China. Boogie had a solid showing in the first game that actually counts for Team USA, as he put up 17 points and 5 boards en route to an easy win
Other sports quickies
Hope Solo, US Soccer team top France. Hope Solo got booed by Brazilians, but it didn't affect her or the rest of the team as they beat France.
US grabs their first gold medal early on. American sharpshooter Virginia Thrasher grabbed the first gold medal for Team USA in the 10-meter air rifle competition.
Vietnam won its first gold medal. In a historic moment for Vietnam, Vinh Xuan Hoang won Vietnam's first ever gold medal with a victory in the 10m air pistol event.
A look at all the inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame induction weekend is underway and Brett Favre headlined the class with a 36-minute speech.
