College Football Top 25 Coaches Poll Released

College football is almost back in our lives.

For now, we'll have to pass the time with preseason polls, honors and unsubstantiated hype. Even the Coaches Poll is not immune to unwarranted hype for various teams, but for now, the first edition of the College Football Coaches Poll of 2016 is out.

To no surprise, the Alabama Crimson Tide take home the top spot, but not far behind are the Clemson Tigers. The two national title contestants are right back in the College Football Playoff race this year, and it's no surprise seeing them take the top two spots.

As for the Kentucky Wildcats, they obviously didn't make the list, but many of their upcoming opponents did. In addition to Bama, the Florida Gators (25), Louisville Cardinals (23), Georgia Bulldogs (16), and  Tennessee Volunteers (10) all made the top 25.
