The Kentucky Wildcats have unveiled their first depth chart of the 2016 college football season.
There was no surprise when it came to the quarterbacks, where Drew Barker holds the No. 1 spot with Stephen Johnson II as his backup. Expect Johnson to occasionally see snaps as his legs give UK's offense a dual-threat option, but Barker is 'the' guy.
One of the interesting battles to watch for was at running back, where junior Boom Williams and senior Jojo Kemp took the top spot thanks to the 'OR' designation. There's also a lot of competition behind them between junior Mikel Horton, sophomore Sihiem King, and true freshman Benny Snell.
Snell is coming off a great fall camp that should have him playing this year, even with UK's loaded backfield. Expect all five of these backs to play at various points throughout the 2016 season.
At receiver, it's the usual suspects with Garrett Johnson, Jeff Badet and Ryan Timmons occupying three of the four receiver spots. However, the fourth spot is listed as Dorian Baker 'OR' Tavin Richardson. This comes as Richardson has been one of the most impressive offensive players in fall camp, so expect to see the redshirt freshman play a lot this Saturday.
Don't be surprised if Kayaune Ross and/or Jabari Greenwood are also able to crack the starting lineup at some point this season.
