The Kentucky Wildcats have scored another commitment in the Class of 2017.
On Tuesday, UK scored a pledge from defensive back Cedrick Dort Jr. Scout.com was the first to break the news. We'll have an exclusive interview with Dort posted later in the day. He's since announced the news himself on Twitter.

A 6-1, 165-pound defensive back prospect, Dort comes out of Dwyer high School in Palm Beach Gardens (FL). His recruitment and interest from other teams has picked up over the summer as Dort has shined in football camps. He's not been given an evaluation in any of the major services other than Scout.com, who rates him as a three-star prospect and the No. 42 corner in 2017.
Dort chooses the Cats over scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Iowa State, Minnesota, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wisconsin among others. Seeing the Badgers offer Dort shows that he is a quality pickup for the Cats and Mark Stoops.
He joins four-star recruit Tyrell Ajian as UK’s second defensive back commitment for the class of 2017. UK also now has 12 commitments for next year's class, and that figures to only be 17-19 players coming in, so any player UK takes at this point is someone they are really high on.
