College Football 2016: ESPN network schedule and announcers set for Week 1

Anish Shroff and Ahmad Brooks will be calling UK's Week 1 game vs Southern Miss.

ESPN has set their announcer assignments for the first week of college football in addition to the schedule of games on the ESPN networks.

That includes Week 0, a rare one-week early start to the season that takes place August 26th, when California and Hawaii face off in Sydney, Australia. They'll do so with Allen Bestwick, Mike Bellotti and Warren Smith on the call.

One week later, the rest of the nation will be kicking off their seasons, one of which being the Kentucky Wildcats facing the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. That game will feature Anish Shroff and Ahmad Brooks calling the game, though no sideline reporter has been designated yet.

You may recall how Shroff was on the call for UK's opener in 2015, which featured Boom Williams welcoming the New Commonwealth Stadium with a bang:
