DeAndre Liggins will be looking to get back into the NBA this year, and the Las Vegas Summer League will provide him with that opportunity.
Liggins, who just won the NBA D-League championship and NBADL Defensive Player of the Year, is playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers for their summer league squad, who announced their full roster on Tuesday. Liggins will also be playing with former Louisville guard Trey Lewis, former Tennessee guard Jordan McRae, and my favorite name in all of sports, Sir'Dominic Pointer.

This past season, Liggins started 33 of the 34 games he played for Sioux Falls, the Miami Heat D-League affiliate.
Liggins posted the best individual defensive rating in the league (96.0), was tied for second in the league in steals (2.1 per game), and also averaged 13.0 points and 6.3 rebounds. He was named an NBA D-League All-Star and helped lead his team to an NBA D-League-record 40 wins and a No. 1 seed in the playoffs before winning it all.
