After a historic debut season in the NBA, Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns will make his return to Lexington this summer.
On Tuesday, UK announced that Towns and John Calipari will be hosting their Rookie of the Year Camp on Aug. 3 in Lexington. The NBA Rookie of the Year and Naismith Hall of Fame coach will touch on all aspects of basketball, including passing, shooting, dribbling, defense and additional skill work.
Towns will personally work and interact with each and every camper. Skill work will be conducted by Kentucky coaches and staff, along with current and former Wildcat players.
Interested campers can register here. More details on the camp will be emailed once you sign up.
This is the second camp featuring a 2016 All-Rookie Team selection, as Suns guard Devin Booker will join Calipari for the Shooting Camp on July 30. Both of these events are great opportunities to meet Wildcats past and present while learning the game of basketball.
Also, make sure you're voting for Towns to win the 2016 Best Breakthrough Athlete award at the ESPYs.
