Overall, it's been a really tough offseason for Matthews Mitchell and UK Hoops, but things continue to swing back in the right direction.
On Wednesday, Stony Brook transfer Ogechi Anyagaligbo announced on Twitter that she had committed to UK.

A 6'0" forward who originally hails from Miami, Anyagaligbo was the America East Conference Rookie of the Year this past season. As a freshman, Anyagaligbo averaged 10.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. She appeared in 32 games for Stony Brook last season with 31 starts while averaging 28.6 minutes per contest.
Anyagaligbo will be eligible to play in the 2017-18 season after sitting out this coming season due to NCAA transfer rules. Still, this is very good for UK this year just for the fact that Mitchell continues to steady his ship after it once looked like he was falling off.
Mitchell has also landed three-star point guard Jaida Roper this offseason, not to mention three quality assistant coaches so this is the fifth addition for UK after players and coaches were leaving left and right.
