ESPN Bracketology has Kentucky Basketball as 1 seed

It's never too early to get a feel for what college basketball will look like next season.

That's pretty much the only thing to take away from any Bracketology that comes out over the summer, including the latest from ESPN's Joe Lunardi. To no surprise, he has the Kentucky Wildcats entering the 2017 NCAA Tournament as a 1 seed with their first two games coming in Indianapolis.

But again, projecting UK's seed and region right now is about as useful as John Calipari's ideas for improving the SEC Tournament.

However, things like Bracketology and way-too-early Top-25 polls can be useful for showing/reminding us just how daunting of a schedule UK has next season. Lunardi's Bracketology has Kansas as a 1 seed, Michigan State as a 2, North Carolina as a 3 and Louisville as a 4.

Those are four of UK's biggest games next season, not to mention three of them come away from the friendly confines of Rupp Arena. Also making this Bracketology are Vanderbilt as an 8 seed, Flordia as a 9, UCLA as an 11 and Valparaiso as a 13.

That's eight teams making the tournament that the Wildcats will face next season.
