As the NBA Draft deadline inches closer and closer for prospects to withdraw, Marcus Lee remains in limbo as to whether he'll return for his senior year or turn pro.
Not long after this past season ended, Lee declared for the draft and made it sound like he was intent on playing in the NBA this year.
However, a bad showing at the NBA Draft Combine may have given Lee the reality check he needed to see returning to UK may be his best option.
Lee has since canceled workouts with NBA teams and it continuing to mull over whether to stay in the draft or return to Lexington. Now, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports Lee is really considering a return to UK and that his decision could go either way:
Kentucky’s Marcus Lee is still debating whether to return to college or remain in the NBA Draft, sources told ESPN. Could go either way.— Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) May 23, 2016
If Lee does return, that would be a huge boost to the Kentucky Wildcats' frontcourt. It would also be really nice to see Lee finish his college career and get his framed jersey on Senior Day.
