The Kentucky Wildcats continue to fill out their 2016-17 basketball schedule.
The 2016-17 college basketball season will be here before we know it (but still not soon enough), and now we're starting to see how the schedule will play out for UK. The Cats' season officially begins Oct. 14 with the annual spectacle of Big Blue Madness, which introduces the 2016-17 men's and women's basketball teams.
UK will then have two exhibition games vs. Clarion and Asbury, the school announced on Wednesday. Clarion is the alma matter of head coach John Calipari, on Oct. 30. The game vs. Clarion will be the second of the Calipari era. UK also took on the Golden Eagles in an exhibition game prior to the 2009-10 season. UK and Asbury will meet for the first time in program history.

In other news, UK will face Duquesne in the regular season, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein:
Kentucky will host Duquesne as part of its 16-17 non-conference schedule, source told @CBSSports. Date is TBD. #BBN
