With basketball winding down and football fully in offseason mode, the diamond is where much of the sports world will center around more and more in the coming months.
College baseball teams up with softball to garner much of our attention, and thankfully UK has some good ones as the baseball team is ranked in the top 25 while the softball Cats are inside the top 15 as both play in the ultra-competitive SEC. And we'd be remissed to not mention MLB starting up this week.
Of course, there's no real offseason when it comes to Kentucky basketball, and the football Cats still have another two weeks of spring ball, so there will be plenty going on around UK for at least a few more weeks.
