The Kentucky Wildcats continue to rack up the academic honors.
The latest comes as junior guards E.J. Floreal and Dominique Hawkins and outgoing senior forward Alex Poythress were each named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Friday.
This comes after the men's basketball Wildcats recorded a perfect four-year composite Academic Progress Rate score of 1,000 while finishing in the top 10 percent of all Division I schools in men's hoops.
Poythress, an outgoing forward, left, was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the fourth consecutive year as he's been one of the greatest ambassadors for UK basketball. Poythress has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in each of his four years at Kentucky. It was the second honor for Floreal and the first for Hawkins.
It was also the second honor for Floreal and the first for Hawkins. The 2015-16 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2015 spring, summer and fall terms. A total of 49 UK student-athletes were named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
