Wildcat Quickies: Allen Edwards Edition

Allen Edwards' new challenge. Briscoe & Lee mull over NBA. Courtney Miggins' rise. More.

Former Wildcats guard Allen Edwards was a part of a golden era of Kentucky basketball, playing in three straight NCAA championship games (1996-98) and winning two titles (1996, ’98).

Now, Edwards is taking on a new challenge on the hardwood, though it doesn't involve clutch threes or pinpoint passes. Coaching is Edwards' newest pursuit as the head coach of Wyoming, and Mark Story did a great piece on him and also included this nice little memory of Edwards and UK rallying past Duke during their '98 title run.

Good times.
