John Calipari and his staff continue to scout and recruit an absolutely loaded 2017 class.
Perhaps the signature of this class is combo forwards as this crop features many five-star guys who fit the 'positionless' basketball mold that Cal stresses. The best combo power/small forward in this class may just be Kevin Knox, who now holds a Kentucky offer after meeting with Cal this week.
Had a great visit with Coach Calipari last night. Extremely blessed to receive an offer from The University of Kentucky⚪️ #BBN

Knox is coming off a monster week at the Nike EYBL in which he solidified the top-10 ranking he has in just about every major recruiting service.
Kevin Knox averaged 21.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in 3 games at the EYBL in Brooklyn over the weekend.

The bad news is Duke has been in heavy pursuit of Knox for the past year and offered him back in December. That's a big reason why the Tampa Catholic (FL) product is predicted to be a Blue Devil, for now at least.
The 6-8, 195-pound Knox is ranked as the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2017 class by 247Sports Composite, which averages out all the major rankings. Both ESPN and Scout.com rank Knox No. 6, while Rivals.com has him at No. 7.
Here are some new highlights of Knox in action by Hoop Team Hoops, who tout him as the next Kevin Durant.
