John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats continue to turn their focus towards a loaded 2017 class.
One recruit who they've been on for awhile is five-star shooting guard Hamidou Diallo. It looks like Diallo will be hosting UK coaches this week, according to his high school's Twitter:
So far Duke, Kentucky, Oregon planning trips to visit with 2017 Hamidou Diallo early this week. After a great weekend with @RENShoops

The 6-6, 180-pound guard out of Queens Village (NY) is viewed as one of the best players in the 2017 class. Rivals.com and 247 Sports have him as their 10th-ranked recruit, and Scout.com has him as their 9th-best prospect. Diallo's AAU coach thinks his pupil could turn into a superstar.
"His upside's through the roof," Rens coach Andy Borman told SNY.tv "He's the most athletic naturally gifted player in the country and maybe not even for his class, maybe just hands down. The kid is 6-6, can do everything and does everything willingly.
"Plays defense, blocks shots, hustle plays, but the most impressive thing that I've seen is his basketball IQ is through the roof. It's not like he's just a gifted kid but he doesn't know what he's doing. Everything he does has a reason."
It only takes a few highlights to show just how freakish of an athlete that Diallo is.

Did we mention Diallo once killed a man?
Between Eric Bledsoe, Archie Goodwin, James Young and Jamal Murray, Diallo looks like he may give those guys a run for their money as the most athletic guard/wing UK has had under Calipari.
But it won't be easy securing a commitment from Diallo, who's being pursued by UConn, Kansas and many other BCS programs. Duke is also looking hard at Diallo, who some consider the best shooting guard in the 2017 class.
