As Kentucky continues to focus more on the 2017 class, the prospects who they're focusing on is becoming more clear.
Add five-star shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. to the list of prospects UK is making a high priority. Trent recently revealed the five schools that are recruiting him the hardest, with Kentucky being among the five.

Trent is a 6'5 shooting guard from Apple Valley, Minnesota ranked as one of the best shooting guards in the country and a top 15 player by nearly every recruiting service.
Duke is the popular pick in the 247 Sports Crystal Ball, garnering 93% with 13/14 predictions leaning toward the Blue Devils. The only other pick was for Ohio State (although it was made nearly a year ago).

Another interesting part of this recruitment is the fact that Trent said last year (and certainly things like these can and do change) that he and five-star power forward Wendell Carter would form a package deal.
The team that is seen as the leading contender for both Trent and Carter?
Duke, though Carter has received an offer from Kentucky as well.
