In college football recruiting, it can be difficult to make 'wow' news with scholarship offers when you're already a four-star recruit with BCS offers.
That is, unless a school like Alabama comes calling. Winners of four NCAA championships since 2009, the Crimson Tide are the cream of the crop in college football, not to mention being at or near the top of college recruiting rankings every year.

So when they offer someone, it's news, and in this case, it may be bad news for Kentucky. Four-star quarterback and UK commit Mac Jones now holds an offer from Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

There's no question it's now going to be hard for UK head coach Mark Stoops and co. to hold off Nick Saban and the defending champs for Jones' signature on National Signing Day.
The good news is Jones has slowed his recruitment in terms of schools not named UK, and he currently has no plans to visit any other schools.

Jones reiterated he's solid with UK to Scout.com's Patrick Loney on Sunday:
2017 #Kentucky QB commit @macjones2017 just told me he's solid to #Kentucky. #BBN

At this point, Jones' recruitment will be one of the biggest stories to follow with UK's 2017 class, but for now, he remains a Wildcat.
