With McDonald's All-American week here, many of the Kentucky Wildcats' signees will be in Chicago this week competing with and against the nation's top high school recruits.
Five-star center Marques Bolden is the top target remaining for UK as his final decision is nearing. Bolden talked with the Louisville Courier-Journal about his recruitment, playing with UK recruits and other topics:
When asked for a timeline on his decision, Bolden did say he won't decide this week, but hopes to in the coming weeks.
But it now doesn't appear as likely that UK will be the pick as it once seemed. After being the favorite for much of the past three months, UK has been passed up by Duke in the 247 Sports Crystal Ball:
Bolden has given no indication as to who his favorite is publicly, but it looks like people in his inner circle are putting it out there that Duke is thew favorite right now, if not the outright pick. The fact that Bolden isn't making his decision this week on a national stage during the McDonald's All-American game suggests he may have not made a final decision on where he's going yet.
Depending on who you ask, that's good news for Kentucky or Duke based on how his recruitment has gone. At this point, I think it's a toss-up as to which school he attends.
