Wildcat Quickies: UK Hoops Edition

New, 67 comments

UK Hoops still dancing. Reviewing UK's past season and looking ahead. Allen Edwards now a head coach. Yogi's mom attacks Ulis' character. More.

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

As one season ends, another is just hitting its climax as the UK women continue their NCAA journey.

After a convincing win over Oklahoma Monday night, the women face Washington in Rupp arena Friday after the 7-seeded Huskies upset 2-seeded Maryland. If the Cats take care of business, they'll be playing Sunday likely against top-seeded Notre Dame for a berth in the Final Four at stake.

As good as Matthew Mitchell's Cats have been under his watch, they've never made it that far under him or in program history for that matter, so this is a pretty big deal.
