DeMarcus Cousins used to have a bad reputation of being a problem child in the NBA, but the former Kentucky Wildcats star has matured by leaps and bounds over the past few years.
That's why it's really disappointing to see that Boogie has been suspended by the Sacramento Kings for a team infraction. It looks like it's for Cousins berating head coach George Karl before Rajon Rondo had to hold him back.
The Kings suspended center DeMarcus Cousins for one game tomorrow vs Orlando for incident shown below, source said. https://t.co/63X0ZvUva3— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) March 10, 2016
Cousins and the Kings are enduring yet another losing season and may not even reach the 30-win mark. Amazingly, they've never even hit that mark since Cousins was joined them in 2010. They've annually been among the NBA's worst teams since 2008, and all of this losing is undoubtedly making Cousins very frustrated as much of a competitor as he is.
Hopefully this latest setback is just a bump in the road for Cousins as he's become one of the NBA's best big men.
