John Calipari posts Twitter message; 'I feel really good about the game'

John Calipari isn't letting Saturday's loss to Texas A&M get him down on his team.

Sure, his young Wildcats have struggled mightily on the road at times this season, but Saturday was a game they played great and had a chance to win in the end. That's all that Cal really cares about, and he echoed those sentiments on Twitter today:

Players couldn’t understand why I wasn’t mad about the loss yesterday. They’ve never seen me this way after a game like that.

It’s really simple: I feel really good about the game because our kids fought.

They fought and put us in a position to win and things happened out of their control. Can’t be mad at that.

As Cal eluded to, he and his Cats will have to figure out how to overcome the loss of Derek Willis after he suffered a serious ankle injury during Saturday's game. It's unclear how long he'll be out, but it looks like several weeks is the minimum.
